Primary purpose of job
In this role you will support the development of Finance Professionals across the company. You will combine your expertise and experience in Finance with your passion for professional development to build Finance capability across the company.
Partnering with senior Functional Leaders and Subject Matter Experts, you’ll define and roll out Competency Frameworks, Learning Programmes (leveraging the 70/20/10 model) and Communities of practice.
You’ll be part of a team of Professional Development Advisors (PDA’s) who support each part of the business to share lessons learned, continuously improve, and grow the portfolio.
Experience & Skills
As a senior experienced professional, you have substantial experience (greater than 10 years) working in Finance, preferably within the Energy business. You combine this with a passion for staff development and growth, including Competency Development and Learning, and have demonstrated this by leading and helping others to grow as you progressed your career.
This role will recognize your experience and give you the opportunity to invest and give back to others as they build their own capability with your support.
In this role you will be willing to grow and develop the role as the business needs change and are able to work strategic challenges with senior stakeholders as well as deep dive into operational issues.
• Degree educated in Finance and/or Human Resources (or equivalents); Professional qualifications in Finance and/or Human Resources are welcomed.
