Minimum Requirements
Minimum 10 years Geosciences work experience in E&P industry with not less than 5 years in the Specialized area (For experience, subtract 2 years for Masters and 3 years for Ph.D. if done in relevant discipline )
Type of Specialist Experience: Very specific specialized experience vital/ critical /very critical to implementation of field development plans
Main task will be to build 3D geological models for reservoir characterization, calculation of geological oil in-place reserves, and estimation of uncertainties. The model also provides inputs for reservoir simulation and used for drilling/ monitoring development wells.
Specialized knowledge of Petroleum Geology focused on field development area along with . Basic knowledge of exploration geology (basin, fairway, play and prospect analysis), geophysics, and petrophysics.
Routine & specialized core analysis planning, procedures, interpretation and use
Clastic and carbonate reservoir characterization work flows, processes and methodology
Geological Mapping and 3D modeling skills with the use of standard industry softwares such as Z-Map, Petrel, RMS, GOCAD etc
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Geosciences subject (Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics or equivalent).
